The 2014 African Movie Academy Awards was held on Saturday May 24th, at the Gabriel Okara Cultural Centre in Bayelsa State.  Clarion Chukwura won the best Actress award while Patience Ozokwor won the award for the best supporting actress. Mothusi Magano won best Male actor in a leading role. Stars at the event included Danny Glover, RMD, Rita Dominic, Ibinabo Fiberesima, Jackie Appiah, Joselyn Dumas, Segun Arinze and many more.
