Davido bagged two awards at tonight's MTV Africa Music Awards. He won the best male artiste and the Artist of the year award. Tiwa Savage picked up the award for Best female Artiste of the year and South Africa's Mafikizolo were the group of the year. Best video of the year was shot by Clarence Peters who also picked up the transform Today Award while Ghana's Sarkodie was the best Hip Hop artiste. Lupita Nyong'o was the personality of the year. Nigeria's Flavor won the Best Live Act while Pharrell Williams was the best International Act. Performers on the night included Miguel, Trey Songz, French Montana, DBanj, Tiwa Savage, Don Jazzy, Uhuru, Ice Prince and many more.It was hosted by comedian Marlon Wayans.
