June 9th was a gathering of who is who in the Nigerian media and Nollywood as friends and colleagues gathered for a Special tribute night to Amaka Igwe at the Haven Events Centre, GRA, Ikeja. Amaka passed away on April 29th, 2014 and will be buried. Guest at the event included Hon Abike Dabiri, RMD, Olu Jacobs, Wunmi Obe, Bukky Ajayi, Kunle Bamtefa, Ngozi Nwosu, Bimbo Akintola, Nobert and Gloria Young, Patrick and Iretiola Doyle, Ego Boyo, Kanayo O Kanayo, Tony Umez, Ali Baba, Bassey Ekpenyong, Teju Babyface and many more.
