The Nigeria Entertainment Awards was held over the weekend in New York. Hosts for the Night were Funke Akindele, Bovi and Gbemi Olateru Olagbegi. Gbemi was out interacting with the audience and kept the energy level high. Performances on the night were from Wande Coal, Praiz, Mc Galaxy, Patoranking. Tiwa Savage won R & B Artiste of the year as well as the female Artiste of the year. Desmond Elliot took home the award for best director even as Davido's 'Aye' and KCee's 'Pullover' were tied for hottest single of the year.
